Being present for others in their journey toward growth and self-discovery is what drives my work as a therapist. I am committed to supporting clients in identifying their strengths and building their self-esteem in a judgment-free space. By combining empathy, genuineness, and the occasional use of humor when appropriate, I aim to foster a safe and supportive environment for growth and healing.
My approach is grounded in the understanding that healing looks different for everyone. I believe in meeting each client where they are, tailoring support to their individual needs and strengths. As a therapist, it is an honor and privilege to help you navigate life’s obstacles and establish life-long skills by developing healthy coping tools. I am mindful of cultural diversity and the role that culture and environment play in an individual’s perception of the world.
Following the completion of my Master's in Social Work, I began working as a medical social worker where I collaborated closely with nurses and physicians in a hospital setting. I later transitioned into clinical therapy, where I have remained for the last five years. I have worked with clients of diverse backgrounds, diagnoses, and ages. My primary clinical areas of focus include working with young adults-older adults struggling with ADHD, anxiety, depression, and mood disorders. I believe in a holistic approach to therapy, blending elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) with a strengths-based perspective to helps clients build on what's already working in their lives.
