As a dedicated and compassionate mental health professional, my journey began with personal reflection and a deep understanding of the transformative power of support. Inspired by my own experiences and those of loved ones, I recognized the universal need for empathetic guidance. This realization fuels my passion for empowering individuals to thrive.
I work with clients to identify negative thoughts and feelings and find solutions to live a fulfilling life. I specialize in working with people to reach their own potential. I have specialization in trauma; especially sexual and domestic violence. I understand that each client comes with their own history and abilities. I do not believe there is any set treatment plan for everyone and work to individualize each person's treatment. I understand that each person will experience their history, events, and self-care differently.
I obtained my MSW (Master of Social Work) from University of Illinois at Chicago and my bachelor’s degree at Western Illinois University. Additionally, I have my ICDVP (Illinois Certified Domestic Violence Professional) certificate. I use a variety of approaches including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing. I always come from an empowerment and trauma informed lens.
