Starting therapy can feel daunting, and I deeply respect the courage it takes to begin this process. I believe therapy is most effective when it’s not just something you show up for once a week, but something you live and engage with daily. My goal is to help you build insight, resilience, and lasting change by supporting the work you do both in and outside of session.
I specialize in working with teens, young adults, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, and emotional overwhelm. I also support families and parents seeking a better understanding of their child’s behavior and emotional world. My approach is grounded in the belief that when we understand how the brain works, especially under stress or trauma, we’re better equipped to respond with intention and compassion. Whether I’m working with an individual or supporting a child-parent dynamic, I often begin with helping you identify and sit with emotions, recognize the thoughts behind them, and explore what your nervous system may be trying to protect you from.
I use a mix of ACT, CBT, DBT, and mindfulness-based approaches to help you step back from overwhelming thoughts, understand your patterns, and move toward the life you want. I especially enjoy working with neurodivergent clients, helping you strengthen executive functioning, reduce burnout, and create sustainable routines that work with your brain, not against it.
Outside of therapy, I prioritize staying grounded and connected, through yoga, reflective reading, and finding lightness in everyday moments through humor and podcasts. These personal practices continue to inform my belief that growth doesn’t come from perfection, but from showing up with intention, even when life feels imperfect or uncertain.
