As a trauma- and multiculturally- informed therapist, I am committed to creating safe, collaborative spaces where individuals feel seen, heard, understood, and supported as they navigate difficult life transitions. Throughout my clinical training, I have had the privilege of working with clients across the lifespan in a variety of settings. These include community mental health clinics, schools, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs, substance use facilities, and college counseling centers.
I believe each person has a unique story, way of expressing themselves, and path toward healing. As such, I take a holistic, person-centered approach, grounded in empathic listening and deep curiosity. This allows clients to uncover their authentic selves and facilitate meaningful change. Trained in psychoanalytic and psychodynamic theories, specifically Time-Limited Dynamic Psychotherapy (TLDP), I assist in exploring how relationships and past experiences impact current functioning.
I also integrate Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) depending on the needs and preferences of the client.
