Mental health plays a bigger role in our daily lives than we often realize. As a Psychiatry PA, my goal is to ensure that my patients feel safe, supported, and understood—especially when it comes to vulnerability. I believe being vulnerable is a crucial step toward finding solutions that work for each individual. Psychiatry is a fascinating field as it integrates medical management with therapeutic approaches. It's not just about treating symptoms; it's about seeing the whole person and understanding their individual needs. Effective mental health care requires a balance between emotional, physical, and mental well-being.
I earned my Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from City College of New York. I'm especially grateful for my rotations in underserved areas, where I learned the essential skill of truly listening to my patients, understanding their unique challenges, and meeting them where they are to create a space of healing and growth. I am dedicated to staying up to date on the latest advancements in psychiatry to provide the best care possible. Additionally, I am committed to delivering culturally competent care and supporting my patients in their journey toward mental well-being.
